The Town of Spring City is currently accepting applications for Court Clerk. The primary responsibilities of the Court Clerk is to receive payments on fines, enter and dockets citations for infractions and non-traffic misdemeanors, organize court calendar, prepare court docket, and attend court sessions. The Court Clerk position requires special attention to detail along with working knowledge of modern office equipment and computer software as well as have excellent customer service. This is a full-time hourly position. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Tennessee driver’s license. Requires 2+ years’ experience in a professional office environment. Preference will be given to candidates with legal experience, such as with the courts, police department, or law office and Local Government software experience.
