SPRING CITY

Nestled between Watts Bar Lake and Walden Ridge, Spring City is Rhea County's second-most-populous city and the site of TVA's Watts Bar nuclear power plant.

Spring City operates a joint industrial development board with Rhea County and manages its own industrial park north of the city. Spring City's major employers include General Shale Brick and SSM Industries, among others.
